"Service Above Self" isn't just our motto; it's the guiding principle that drives Rotarians to make a difference.

The Wings of Change (formerly Flight) celebration and auction, championed by the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs, embodies this spirit through the transformative power of art.

​

Since 2008, hundreds of curated butterfly and dragonfly sculptures have been created by local artists and auctioned at our annual celebration to bidders throughout the United States.

​

This treasured tradition continues! Through the generosity of our sponsors, bidders, and those who attend our celebration, we have been able to generate funds to support a myriad of projects.

​

The net revenue from Wings of Change benefits Colorado Springs' schools and international and local service projects.

​

Examples include:

• Support for science, technology, and the arts in area schools

• Individual post-high school scholarships for deserving students in our community

• Individual recognition and awards for high school teachers

• Dental care for children in need

• Support for international projects of Rotary Clubs in Ghana, Uganda, Nicaragua, Italy, and Ethiopia
